The Actor
Steve is an award-winning stage actor who’s performed in everything from intense dramas to absurd comedies—sometimes both in the same show. He’s also appeared in several independent films, none of which you’ve probably seen, but you could probably get a DVD from his mom if you ask nicely. With a lifelong passion for storytelling, Steve believes in theater that connects people and sparks important conversations. Every Brilliant Thing is a deeply personal project for him, shaped by his own experiences with mental health and his commitment to helping others feel less alone. The Charity
Every Brilliant Thing Central WI will be doing TWO fundraising performances - a two-day run in Stevens Point, WI, on May 30 & 31, 2025.The charity receiving all proceeds will be the United Way of Portage County and funds from the event will be specifically designated to various mental health resource organizations in Central Wisconsin.There will be additional performances in September 2025, to benefit a Wood County charity. Watch for charity info and dates.
The United Way of Portage County gave us our seed money so we could book a venue and start marketing the show. Thank you so much, United Way!

The Team
We’re a small crew—Steve, Nathaniel, Christina, and Jenny—just four people who care deeply about mental health and believe in the power of storytelling. Each of us brings our own unique talents to the table, and together, we’re putting our hearts into this project. Every Brilliant Thing means something personal to all of us, and we’re honored to bring it to life in support of a cause that really matters.

Our mission is to remind people they are not alone, to spark conversations that matter, and to build a future where mental health is met with understanding, not judgment. Through this production, we aim to raise vital funds and awareness to support mental health resources in our community.
